Premedical Scholars Club
The Premedical Scholars Club provides an opportunity for students interested in pursuing advanced education in medicine and the sciences, such as medical or dental school or other graduate school programs, to become informed of what must be done to accomplish their goals. The club offers the preprofessional support and guidance they need to ensure that they are prepared to take the next step on their journey toward a career in medicine.
The club hosts informational seminars and presentations, including speakers who work in health-related fields and admissions officials from professional health schools. The speakers discuss the application and interview processes, and provide other useful information for students about what they need to do to achieve their goals – allowing students to become aware early about what steps they’ll need to take in order to realize their goal of becoming a medical professional.
The Premedical Club also offers students the opportunity to become CPR-certified, and connects them with volunteer experiences related to their areas of interest in various health fields. For more information, or to join the club, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
