Springfield College dedicated the new Richard B. Flynn Campus Union, named in honor of the College's president, at a noon ceremony in the building's main lobby, Thursday, Feb. 4. - Springfield College Football To Join The Liberty League as Associate Member
Springfield College will join the Liberty League as an associate member in the sport of football beginning with the 2012 football season. The announcement was made Feb. 5 by Jim McLaughlin, Liberty League President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Union College. - Springfield College Alum to Compete in Vancouver Winter Olympic Games
Former Springfield College track star Erin Pac '03 will represent the United States as the driver for USA Bobsled II in the upcoming Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, which begin Friday, February 12. Ranked sixth in the world in her event, Pac will be competing for a medal on February 23 and 24. There will be two heats in women's bobsledding each of those two days.
